Yes. Most stair remodels keep the structure and swap oak spindles for iron balusters, replace or refinish treads, and add new newel posts. The staircase in our gallery is exactly that.
Yes. Board-and-batten, shiplap, picture-frame wainscot and crown are core finish-carpentry work for us.
If it's real carpentry, no. A laundry room, a built-in, one wall of wainscot, a set of stairs. We'd rather do a small job right than skip it.
